Marc Packles is experienced in multiple aspects of trading complex derivatives and structured products. He owes his knowledge to his many years spent at Citigroup Inc. where he oversaw trading operations in different global markets for over 12 years. He started his career dealing with proprietary derivative-based strategies with a focus on equity and equity-linked securities. He then transitioned to pricing, issuing of structured products, risk management, and mortgage-backed securities. 

From 1996 to 2008, therefore, Mr. Packles was an active senior trader who held several different managing positions within Citigroup's Global Markets division. Among his many roles, he was instrumental in trading and risk managing Index, OTC, and single stock derivatives as well as creating Structured Products based on Equity and Equity-linked products. He also worked on the implementation of custom trading strategies. From 2004 to 2008, he started the Hybrid Capital trading business for Citigroup, developing a product with both equity and fixed income characteristics that contains complex embedded derivatives as well. Mr. Packles played a key role in making the overall business highly successful.

During his spare time, Marc Packles is a committed triathlete, where he uses his athletic abilities to raise awareness for causes and organizations such as Team OneFamily and the Youth Renewal Fund. He is also an avid chess player.
