Marco Brewer, CEO of Executive Management Services (EMS), oversees the daily operations of the food services consulting company. EMS works to bring healthy food items to school cafeterias, day care centers, after-school programs, and emergency shelters. The company was founded in 1991 with the goal of helping educational and child care facilities offer healthier food options to young people.Marco Brewer works with the federal government to provide facilities with reimbursements for healthy food options in an effort to reduce the childhood obesity epidemic. As CEO, he often provides consulting services to facilities and nutrition advocacy firms that want to improve nutritional offerings to children. Mr. Brewer believes that children deserve healthy meals rather than inexpensive yet nutritionally empty food.Marco Brewer enjoys conducting research for his clients, helping them find badly needed funds to overhaul old menus with fresher, healthier food items. Mr. Brewer stays organized using a database that he updates regularly; it contains information for food service companies regarding laws and government reimbursement plans. For the past 18 years, he has worked with dozens of companies to change the food services industry to benefit children.Before he established EMS, Marco Brewer graduated from California State University with a degree in Business Administration. He also helped start the National Black Sales Caucus and worked at Proctor & Gamble as a Marketing Manager. Overall, Mr. Brewer continues to value children's nutrition and enjoys taking on challenges with EMS. In his spare time, Marco Brewer gives back to his community's youth. He works with Valley Teen Ranch, Inc.; Valley Children's Hospital; the Child Welfare League of America; and several other charities.
