Was approached by the Divisional Manager for a promotion to occupy the role of Personal Trainer Manager. The role included:

  • Manage 8 trainers at LA Fitness, Southampton

  • Increase the Personal Training culture within the gym

  • Source leads, interview and recruit trainers to meet head office targets

  • Induction of new trainers at their new club

  • Education and mentoring of new trainers

  • Aid in business development for all trainers to build and retain a client base.

  • Be the liaison between  the gyms, trainers and Fitness Agents

  • Take into account the branding and individuality of the gym to reach my goals

  • Grew my role to include 30 trainers at five different gyms across the South Coast of UK.

  • Able to learn and adapt to the different business models that LA Fitness, DW Sports and FitSpace gyms employ to succeed

  • Organising and running many junior tournaments

  • Participating in monthly committee meetings

  • Introducing new LTA initiatives to each club

  • Coaching at Professional Tournaments/promotion days and International Davis Cup Ties

  • Was the first coach in Gloucestershire to introduce Club Training initiative within the tennis club.

Studied Fitness And Personal Training for 2 years and is where many awards we gained.  To become industry accredited by the Register Of Exercise Professionals, course modules had to be passed by a minimum of 70% which was achieved.
