Director of Programming--AOL Sports Channel

Turned the AOL Sports Channel into the #1 interactive sports destination. Developed and implemented vision and strategy for the channel and managed AOL Sports team and numerous relationships with AOL's sports partners. Developed structure of redesigned site that launched in spring 1999; introduced dynamic sports coverage as part of a new programming model in 1998 and led major programming and site redesign in 1997. Launched AOL-branded play-by-play scoreboards, attracting unprecedented numbers of users and record-setting revenues. Significantly increased revenue and site usage through "Fan Centrals" with coverage of 20+ annual major sporting evetns. Directed redesign and new programming model for "Grandstand," the top sports community online. Increased revenue by creating and implementing advertising, sponsorship and e-commerce. Implemented and managed deals with major content partners including CBS SportsLine, ABC Sports, NFL, and others.
