All sales through the store benefit the House of Bread, a local ministry and soup kitchen. In addition to his photographic career, Marc Abrahms always makes time to give back to his community. A longtime supporter and board member of the Gene and Anja Rosenberg Hebrew Home and Rehabilitation Center, Mr. Abrahms led a capital campaign with a goal of raising $5 million for the nonprofit medical institution in the 1980s; the effort was a success, raising in excess of $9 million for the construction of a new facility in West Hartford. Additionally, to supplement the support he gives the House of Bread through photograph sales, Mr. Abrahms volunteers in the soup kitchen as a cook at least twice each month. A veteran of the insurance industry, Marc Abrahms holds a strong track record of success in personal sales as well as corporate leadership. A longtime resident of West Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. Abrahms led the Abrahms Corporation as President and Chairman of the Board.
