The Andermatt, a subsidiary of the Orascom Development Holding, currently develops an integrated, all- year resort with a total investment of USD 2 billion over 150 ha, with 6 new upscale and luxury hotels with 844 rooms, including the first Chedi Hotel in Europe, 490 apartments in 42 buildings and 25 private villas, supplemented bya state- of-the-art sport and leisure centre, 35. 000 m2 retail space, a 27-hole golf course with Golf Academy, a Congress and concert facilities for up to 600 people, 1, 970 parking spaces and a ski lift operation with 130 kilometres of trails. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Management Board of Directors, my responsibilities include: The overall management of the functional areas Hotels, Golf, Ski, Retail, Restaurant, Facility and Condominium Management and Destination Marketing. Working closely with Real Estate Sales, Finance, Planning and Construction on product development, capitalinvestment design, feasibility and construction progress, whilst liaising with the end users and operators regarding handover, commencement of operations, asset management and lead owner representation process. Coach the project team during all phases of assigned projects from inception through construction to completion. Actively involved in development and operational initiatives, sourcing and negotiating management and marketing partnership agreement opportunities to ensure consistency with business objectives, and that they provide the projected, desired financial returns. Presenting the Company to resort stakeholders; state and local governments, regional tourist boards, prospective owners, developers, operators, marketing partners, suppliers and investors.
