In my spare time I'm doing voluntary work around the topic of climate change. From organizing events and climate actions to painting banners and cleaning plastic from the beach.

I organized several events. Earthcon on Campus Party and climate actions.
Mostly mobile application development. Playframework for the back-end(Java). Experience in setting up Docker, cordova/ionic/angular applications, Grunt.
Test automation for android and support colleagues with using the automated test system.
- A robot on wheels that can detect licence plates and that is controllable with a mobile application.
- Home automation system with raspberry pi connected to sensors, camera stream in a web-platform.
- Lunch application in Android. The lunchlady wanted a automatic count of the employees working at Mirabeau.
I participated at 6 (and counting) hackathons . It's a way to create something amazing while getting to know amazing people. I love the collaboration, the passion and the drive I get from these events.
Also organised one and will organize one in the near future.
Sustainable Leadership and Entrepeneurship.
EarthCon is a three-day climate action event focused on mitigating the effects of climate change. I was responsible for programming, recruiting volunteers and coordinating at the event.
I have organized several events to support several causes related to sustainability. For example running an awareness campaign on the starvation of bees at a local festival. Or creating a network of youth climate activist in the Netherlands to work together on a better world.
Or planting threes on the middle of a railway track to stop the coal harbor from transporting coal.
