Virology Techniques
  • Extensive working experience in virology techniques including virus propagation and purification; virus neutralization; virus detection by ELISA, PCR.
  • virus isolation and characterization from clinical samples and from cellular models, virus titration by plaque assay, TCID50 method.

  • DNA & RNA extraction and purification  from tissue, blood and stool samples.

Cell Culture Techniques
  • Strong hands on experience in mammalian cell culture including primary cells (Isolated human islets of Langerhans, Exocrine and ductal cells); Continuous cell lines (Green Monkey Kidney cells, Insulinoma, Min6, HELA and EndoC-βH1 cell lines),
  • Cell isolation from blood and spleen.
  • Training and experience in working Human Clinical Islet isolation under cGMP Condition.
