Description: This project is to create/revise various aircraft manuals (like AMM, AIPC, CMM, TSM, SRM, PPBuM, WDM, WSM,...) based on the technical information provided by the manufacturer. This technical information includes Engineering Drawings, Bill of Materials, Digital Mock-ups, Acceptance Test Procedures, Assembly/Re-work Instructions, Tooling /Consumable Information… These manuals are created/revised in accordance with international standards (ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000d...) and written in accordance with Technical Simplifies English. Authoring is done using editing software’s like Epic Editor, Frame Maker, Microsoft Word and illustrations are done using tools like Isodraw, Autotrol Tech Illustrator with Airbus Plug-in. Also, aircraft manuals are complied with manufacturer specific style guides, SGML/XML guides and illustration guides. These manuals basically detail Cleaning, Inspection, Disassembly, Assembly, Repair, Removal, Installation, Activation and Deactivation, parts list and also help in procurement of various components of aircraft.
Worked on variety of aircraft manuals for various engine and aircraft programs for many original equipment manufacturers. Managed / created / revised various manuals which include propulsion, structural and avionics systems.

Description: Creation of Engineering Changes, Change Proposal, Service Bulletin, Request for Manual Revision, Coordination
The main scope of this project is to:
Selection of suppliers who can implement these engineering changes during product overhaul and update necessary documentation as per ATA rules, and program specific standards, guides and formats by identified suppliers.

Description: Development of macros, parsers, plug-in to automate design and review process
The main objective of this project was to develop macros in CATIA V5 and plug-in in content management PLM to automate some steps of design and review process.
Parser development was another important objective of this project. The main purpose of these parsers is to validate XML/SGML files for completeness check. Also, Arbor text Command Language files (ACL) were developed to automatically update SGML/XML files with correct tagging information and thus avoid manual errors based on aircraft programs and activity.
These tools improved the operation efficiency and reliability of the process and helped to achieve First Time Right objective in several projects.

Description: In order avoid high replacement cost of parts, various airlines across the globe send requests to repair damaged components. Based on these repair /technical variance requests, repair solution will be provided wherever possible. These repair solutions are created by referring to engineering drawings, rework instructions and in close collaboration with engineering and stress department of component manufacturer. These repair solutions will be approved by designated engineering authority after making sure that the component is restored to original dimensions after carrying out the test repair in Repair and Overhaul shops.

Description: This project involves preparation of process sheets for manufacturing of various components and assembly of Jaguar aircraft. These process sheets gives the work instructions, tools and consumables required, drawings, repair and rework procedures to the shop floor people.
In this project many components were indigenized in collaboration with British Aerospace and Israel Aerospace Establishment in DARIN (Display, Attack, Range, and Inertia Navigation Systems) program. To carryout indigenization, the project involved drafting of 2D models of various parts/tools in AutoCAD / CATIA V5 and coordination with shop and tool room and with Design Bureau to resolve various problems related to manufacturing and assembly of indigenized components. Engineering Drawings, Planning Cards and Technical Instruction Sheets were used to carryout this project.

Description: The main purpose of this analysis is to analyze and foresee the possible complications that may arise to carry out the maintenance procedures for several aircraft systems before the product entry into service. During this project, analysis has been carried out with the help of DMU to check if the components can be removed/installed. It was also analyzed to check the accessibility and the limitation of the tools during the maintenance operation.
