Applied basic responsibilities such as greeting customers upon entry, handling all cash, credit, and check transactions, assisting customers over the phone regarding store operations and product, fitting room trained, assisting in new arrivals from a morning truck, sorting the items, re-wrapping opened fragrances, applying security sensors and hanging new clothing in the stock room, and transferring stock to throughout the sales floor with teamwork. While also constantly thanking and interacting with all customers, applying friendliness and respect to all individuals, and applying effective and clear communication. Good understanding and experience with the recovery of the sales floor in all departments.
Advance responsibilities were obtained through an acquired authorization to count registers in order to open and/or close the store, the occasional position as key carrier/customer experience coordinator, and a trained and experienced cash office associate.
Cash office associate consists of the responsible to follow procedures in the office to ensure proper and legal handling of funds, the collection of cash, money orders, and checks, the recording of funds, to set up a deposit bag which is reviewed by the manager and sent to the bank, several registers are analyzed daily by organizing and reviewing all receipts within the previous business day, reporting any procedure errors. Once all registers are balanced from the previous day, reports on any excessive variances must be determined and brought to attention.
