My last semester of college I was brought on to help open and launch the Lubbock, Texas location of Signature Stag Fine Menswear. I interacted with customers and marketing cliental on a daily basis, building strong rapport by asking probing questions and utilizing effective listening skills. Collaborated with managers, team members, and owner to achieve company’s lasting marketing strategies to substantially increase store productivity and repeat cliental. Managed all social media accounts, and special store events. Drove sales through selling products based on customers past purchases and preferences that helped support my relationships with my clients. Delivered excellent customer service going above and beyond the retail industry’s standards of having a great shopping experience by personally delivering clothes to their door step on short notice, entertaining children so clients could enjoy a moment to themselves, and placing custom orders. Provided comprehensive follow-up, often going between customer and vendor to resolve issues, and tailoring resolutions to meet customer needs. Trained new employees on basic customer service techniques and procedures. Motived team by promoting teamwork, positive behavior, and encouraging optimism in a fun environment. Signature Stag ended up being voted by the Lubbock community “2018 Best of The West: Local Men’s Store” within the first four months of it being open.

In charge of the stores displays, and window presentation for every season, while keeping our "fresh eclectic fashion" motto in mind. Implemented a new sales tactic of collaborating with girls across social media platforms to promote our brand and boost online sales nationwide, "TCE Honeys". Efficiently operate cash register, Square retail, scanners and computers to itemize and total customer purchases; collect payments and make change for cash transactions; and balance drawer at the end of each shift. Assist with store stocking, floor-sets and opening/closing procedures. Displayed a positive, helpful attitude on a daily basis that was consistently praised by customers and employers alike. Built customer loyalty through exceptional customer service and an engaging in-store experience.
Fully responsible for the operations of the newspaper and online publication of The Odyssey at Texas Tech once a week. In charge of the hiring process for the 35 - strong staff including editorial positions, and growing. Crafted and implement a long term vision for the newspaper including changing how we select stories, design for the newspaper and website, and re-arranging staff positions. Responsible for designing and editing the front page and the content pages of the print issued paper. Run weekly meetings with entire staff and maintain a steady flow of communication with The Odyssey's administrators.
