Emma chose to take five years off of school between finishing high school and going to college. During those years she spent time working in Canada and abroad. Thanks to a high school co-op she was offered a position working at Casa Loma and was able to develop her strong customer service skills. At the age of 18, Emma was presented with the opportunity to trek to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. She spent three weeks in the picturesque Himalayas followed by one week travelling through India.Emma quickly caught the travel bug and along with a friend decided to move to London, England. During her time there, she furthered her people skills through working at an engineering firm and improved her ability to work under pressure by accepting a position at a Michelin Star restaurant in Notting Hill. For the past three years, Emma has been working toward her Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Humber College. She has worked hard to maintain her honours standing while continuing to work full time.Emma is currently searching for a challenging intern position for the new year.
