Seeking a challenging position with an organization where my skills will be challenged and new learning opportunities can be discovered.
Given the opportunity to intern with several different organizations has provided me with many diverse experiences. My undergraduate coursework has also allowed me to diversify my abilities. Through the years I have acquired valuable skills that make me a desired addition to any company or organization. These skills range from communication skills, to organizational skills and excellent work ethic. I am able to successfully produce and distribute internal communication such as newsletters and flyers. I have also been successful at distributing external communication such as news releases, feature stories and copy for web.
My work ethic is shown through the work load I have taken on during my last two semesters at Baylor University. During this time I had a full load of coursework, a part-time job, and a part-time internship. Dealing with the never ending assignments and requests during this time helped me discover that I can handle multiple projects with efficiency and ease.
After graduation my goals are to continue to move forward into the professional world. I feel that I am an excellent candidate and possess the qualifications to be successful at any opportunity that is given to me.
Analiz taught me the necessary skills to become a good writer. She is skilled in what she does and provides excellent feedback.
Professor Perry has been a mentor for the past year and a half. She has provided me valuable information on how to be successful in my future. We have worked together on multiple public relations and design projects. She has also taught me how to deal with crisis situations, after being a public information officer in Waco during the branch dividian crisis she is able to provide valuable insight on how to appropriately handle a crisis situation.
As the Providence planning and marketing intern it was essential for me to stay organized.
Many of my tasks included keeping documents and projects organized so that they could be recovered correctly at a later date.
