Reviewed installation specifications, and government ordinances to determine installation site for antenna. Measured distance from landmarks to identify exact location. Inspected installation site to identify obstructions that can and will block or distort signals produced from the satellite or antenna. Assembled and attached electronic and structural compounded of antenna, applying knowledge of electricity and electronics, following installation guidelines. Performs all inspections and inventories of all team equipment and materials. Participated in various drill situations to ensure equipment, frequencies, and comsec are all operable and synchronized with the network control station. Established site defense plan and coordinates with adjacent teams for mutual support. Installed, operates and maintains retransmission system and acts as the network control station for the retransmission net. Performed operator and organizational level maintenance on the retransmission system(s). Operates and performs checks on assigned vehicles. Installed, operated and performs checks on power generators as well.
