vFinal event project for Sport and Event Marketing Program with George Brown College; acted as team leader in initial planning, final execution, and wrap-up of the third party fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

vResponsible for execution of strategic marketing initiatives to generate awareness; successful in attracting local media and establishing a web presence.

vOther responsibilities included donor and sponsor solicitation, negotiation with our venue, entertainment, and charity, delegation of tasks within my team, and budget maintenance.

vInvolved with preparation of sponsorship proposals, research on potential sponsors and donors, and assisted in the planning and execution of major fundraising events including the Annual Summer BBQ for TIFF, Summer Garden Party, and Worldwide Short Film Festival.

vRaised $40,000 as the Silent Auction Coordinator of the CFC’s Annual Winter Gala & Auction; required donor solicitation, communication with suppliers and sponsors, organization of over 500 donated items, and volunteer direction.

vReviewed sponsor contracts for the World Wide Short Film Festival and maintained excel databases to document sponsor relations with the CFC.

vAdministrative duties included organizing large mail-outs, minute taking, sponsor research, and preparing/proofreading venue and sponsor contracts.
