Social Media

I have been using social media on a regular basis for the last 4 years.  I have much experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and various blogging websites.

Microsoft Office

I have a high level of proficiency and familiarity with the entire Microsoft Office suite.  I have been using the software for over 10 years both for personal writing and presentation-making, as well as practical use in my previous areas of employment.

Being a Resident Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh helped me to develop my leadership skills.  Not only was I directly responsible for the general well-being of the residents on my floor, I was also expected to act as a role model for them and lead by example.

Foreign Language (French)

I have been studying the French language for 9 years in school.  I also took a summer-long language-intensive course with the Berlitz Language Center in Princeton, NJ and studied abroad in Nantes, France.  In my spare time, I like to read novels that have been translated into French in order to keep up with the language and continue to enhance my vocabulary.

Public Speaking

After taking a class on Public Speaking and then Advanced Public Speaking, I entered a university-wide oratory competition in the category of Commencement Speech for the Communication Department.  After winning, I delivered my speech at the Communication Department Graduation Ceremony in front of over 400 people.
