Profile summary.

Master of fine art, with a Bachelors degree in Visual Studies.

Strong theoretical and practical background in Art and Art History.

Subject areas of research and influence are wide and varied, working within and without the art world (Please refer to website).

Current aims are directed towards various developmental areas within art practice - personally and collectively -  through collaborations and dialogues. Opportunities to be a part of collectives and group/shared projects will be sort to engage, share and enhance discourses and applications in contemporary art practice. 

Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or as a team. Excellent planning skills with a strong understanding and application of time management. Very people orientated with a passion for others and supporting them to achieve their personal goals, talk through any ideas or concerns and realise their full potential. Practical skills

Techniques, methods and applications - overview.

Vast amount of skills in experimental and practical approaches to the use of materials and techniques appropriate to art practice.

Sculptural techniques include casting and assemblage sculpture - use of welders and other metal and stone equipment - as well as installation.

A solid understanding of various printing techniques such as mono print, screen printing and etching. 

Building of structures and models. Sculptural surfaces for the projection of films. Performance Art and using the body as a tool.

Filming and editing using leading applications. Photography. Development of black and white film. Digital photography.  

3D work.

Using wood, metal and other materials to create 3D artworks and spaces. Using a variety of hand and power tools. 

Computers and Software.

A solid knowledge with a variety of computer platforms and operating systems.
