Before becoming a patent attorney, Lynda Calderone earned a BS in chemical engineering from Drexel University and went on to graduate with honors and a JD from Rutgers School of Law-Camden. She has since gained an extensive amount of experience in intellectual property litigation, foreign patent prosecution, and U.S. patent application preparation and negotiation. For 10 years, Lynda Calderone also served as a certified mediator for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In 2005, Calderone assumed her current role as a member and founding shareholder of the Intellectual Property Department at Flaster/Greenberg in New Jersey, where she is also a member of the firm’s Alternative and Renewable Energy group. She utilizes her background in chemical engineering and her expertise in intellectual property and patent law to serve a diverse client base, including companies in the energy and pharmaceutical industries. In her work, Calderone regularly represents clients before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board, as well as the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
As a respected member of her field, Lynda Calderone is often invited to present on professional topics at educational institutions like the Stevens Institute of Technology and Rutgers University. She has also garnered various accolades from industry publications. For a number of years, she has been ranked as one of the top patent attorneys in New Jersey by Best Lawyers and has maintained status on South Jersey Magazine’s Top Attorney List.
