Summary

Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Lauren Krieg is the oldest daughter of Timothy and Sabrina Krieg. In her freshman year at Baylor University in Waco, Texas Lauren joined the Beta Tau chapter of Delta Delta Delta. Gaining valuable cultural capital, Lauren studied abroad the summer after her freshman year. She traversed through Sweden, Denmark and Great Britain for six weeks while taking classes in psychology and British literature. Following sophomore year, she interned in the public information department of Midway I.S.D. in Woodway, Texas, allowing herself insight into the field of education.Interning with BugsDotCom from January to August 2012, Lauren flourished in corporate public relations. Building relationships with media outlets, Lauren had press releases picked up by influential media in Central Texas.Currently in her senior year, Lauren is majoring in Journalism, Public Relations and New Media with a concentration in Marketing. She is the continuing education chair for Tri Delta and serves on officers training council. Working closely with Baylor's office of development, she is a member of Student Foundation having served on the alumni relations and campus promotions committees. Lauren is the public relations director for The Pulse, an undergraduate publication dedicated to printing undergraduate research papers.
