As a Psychology graduate, interacting with people is my passion and core competence. I enjoy researching the field of online consumer psychology and desire to use psychological phenomenon in the area of public relations, marketing, branding using social media. As a hobby, I write on my personal blog on social media and entrepreneurship, and actively participate in social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
My zest in studying the applications of social media has paid off in my application of such skills. Barely two months into my previous employment as a Consultant at a start-up, I have managed to secure a consultancy project from a major governmental agency, and achieved more than 100% growth rate in Facebook fans within 2 months of undertaking the project. Also, four months since I've started to actively participate in social media, I manage to clinch a Top 20 spot in Standard Chartered World's Coolest Intern competition.
In my current employment as a Community Executive, I manage to secure 25% growth in my company's LinkedIn group in a mere 10 days.
Under my leadership, projects achieved growth and success. In my freshman year, the Freshmen Orientation Program that I led saw unprecedented participation for two camps, immense improvement in charity donations and two prestigious awards for a university-wide competition. During my term in NES as a Vice President, my projects expanded their global reach in terms of partnerships and participation, and won the distinguished NUS Innovation/Entrepreneurship Practicum award.
With this results-driven track record and a strong set of skills, I believe I will be able to assist your company in achieving greater success in the areas of marketing, public relations and brand management.
