Summary

As a recent graduate of Purdue University, I am a young professional looking develop my skills and utilize my knowledge. With two years of internship experience, I am able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, work independently or with a team and am eager to learn new things. Having majored in Professional Writing, I enjoy studying grammar and sentence structure. My time at Purdue challenged my skills and allowed me to utilize my knowledge to complete extensive research reports, memorandums, a white paper and much more.

I am currently the Community Coordinator Intern at Saxony-Republic Development. As the intern, I am responsible for the composing emails and newsletters, as well as managing/updating the company's social media accounts. I look forward to utilizing my skills to better the lives of others, fulfilling a position at a people-oriented nonprofit organization.

As the CTIC's intern, I was able to apply skills I have learned at Purdue to a professional setting, while receiving constructive criticism from my supervisors. Some of my duties/accomplishments at CTIC included:

  • Produced and updated website content (included CSS/HTML coding)
  • Composed news releases, member letters, emails and other professional documents
  • Published articles in three issues of Partners online magazine
  • Assisted with large mailing requests managed through Excel files
  • Provided technical assistance for website and Partners.
