My Blog


I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Public and Organizational Relations, thus I am well versed in research techniques, familiar with blogging, great with client relations, and above all, I am flexible and a fast learner. I am passionate about marketing and PR, and I would like to utilize the skills I am honing in my Masters program to help create successful campaigns. I have experience in start-up marketing and PR campaigns, as I was the head of marketing for a boutique furniture hire and events company in Cape Town, South Africa. I was responsible for determining the target market, building and maintaining business relationships, as well as creating all of the marketing and promotional material. I am well-versed with Microsoft Office, as well as the Mac operating system.


I believe that communication is an influence and an unavoidable part of any organization, and one that has the power to positively or negatively effect that organization's image, identity, and productivity. Unfortunately, communication often does not receive enough emphasis, and the internal and external organizational structures suffer.  I am passionate about Public and Organizational Relations and Marketing, and I aspire to bring awareness to the power of strategic communication skills in all sectors.  We live in a world in constant development; technology is changing the way that we communicate, and has the power to reach markets that we previously never believed possible.  I want to help organizations harness these resources, and teach them how to better their internal climate, as well as increase their scope and productivity.
