Provide leadership for strategic plans, design and implementation of approved plans. Deliver operational and development support for all systems both internally developed and/or integrated from a third-party provider. Deliver 24x7 support of all information systems, servers and other areas including overnight job reporting cycles, network monitoring and database monitoring. Currently managing application upgrades and migrations from remaining Windows 2003 server platform to Windows 2012 server as well as to SQL Server 2014. Serve as key technology executive for vendor management. Responsible for IT involvement on all project steering committees. Present quarterly at IT Steering committee and IT infrastructure committee meetings. Report to Executive Committee on critical issues relating to IT infrastructure, information security, Disaster Recovery(DR) and Business Continuity(BCP). Assured Guaranty /Financial Security Assurance(FSA), New York, NY Managing Director Directed 24/7 systems, operations, help desk, database administration, network security, disaster recovery, and data center infrastructure for New York headquarters and multiple remote offices across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Collaborated with the chief security officer and auditors to develop and implement Sarbanes-Oxley compliant security procedures. Managed and directed datacenter relocation of corporate headquarters. Responsible for buildout of additional datacenters. Worked closely with facilities to ensure minimal impact to organization on all relocations. Responsible for all vendor management, including contract negotiations, recommendations and presentations to Executive Committee. Created an IT Department to support municipal bond insurance firm in growing from 120 to 420 employees and meet the rapidly expanding technology requirements of a business generating $1 billion in annual revenues. Built department from 3 to 15 staff and guided team in professional development activities, which resulted in the establishment of a highly productive staff with minimal employee turnover. Served as both mentor and coach in order to develop a strong team. Significant hands-on experience in all areas of technology including database, network security, firewalls, Unix/Linux administration, and Windows Active Directory. Completed an initiative to virtualize hundreds of physical Windows servers to a virtual, private cloud environment. This effort reduced maintenance efforts, power requirements and improved uptime for users. Significantly improved Disaster Recovery(DR) and Business Continuity(BCP) processes and procedure through testing and optimization in coordination with business users. Managed transition from Lotus Notes to Exchange.

Change for Kids partners with New York City public schools to empower underprivileged children by providing them with a broad range of innovative literacy, arts, and music programs.
