Video Pre Production -

• Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment for specific job.

• Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.

• Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment including GO PRO cameras.

• Shooting and collecting b-roll footage around MFC campus of products and or programs.

• Supports the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to client and other constituents.

• Helps to sustain and guide the team’s creative process.

• Assists in developing interview questions and storyboards for various projects including MFC Chats, and other specialty productions.

• Assists in set up and tear down of video and P/A equipment for special events such as web casts, luncheons, all hands meetings etc...

• Handles conversion of all related media to proper formats i.e. VHS or BETA tapes to digital media.

Video Post-Production -

• Works with several different PC and Mac based editing and media related software to complete all post production work, such as Sony Vegas Pro, Final Cut Pro and Pro X, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Various Conversion Software, Adobe Premier and all Adobe Creative Suite programs.

• Import and logging of all footage into editor.

• Keep up with video database and insure proper filing of completed b-roll and projects via server.

• Complete creative one of a kind video edits with visual and text effects and delivers to customers and meets their deadlines.

• Work closely with customers on each edit working through rough cuts until the final meets the customers’ specifications.

• Handle encoding of all completed material into several formats depending on the final source output

• Create custom DVD’s with a full range of menus and options through DVD authorization.

• DVD duplication and DVD label creation.

• Creation and live capture of web related videos such as webinars via Camtasia program.

Photography Pre and Post -

• Cover a wide range of photography off site and around MFC facilities including creative event photography, portrait, group, and passport photos.

• Handling and maintaining photography equipment.

• Capture and edit of photos using various programs like Photo Shop, iPhoto, Adobe Light Room and other Adobe creative suite programs.

• Uploading of photos to share points and or emailing proofs to customers.

Audio Engineering and Sound Design –

• Work closely with 3D animation team to produce the highest quality sound effects and musical score track for their films.

• Responsible for collection and storing thousands of sound effect clips for use in edits including foley and field captured sounds.

• Complete all sound production edits in Sound Pro and Final Cut Pro X.

• Sampling and collection of royalty free music database for movies.
