On Carnival Valor I have sailed in the Caribbean sea, doing the watch ( for the whole contract )preparing the wheelhouse for each maneuver and getting confident with all bridge equipment and instrumentation . I also had the opportunity to go the mooring stations. I have been assistant safety as well, getting confident with all safety matters and procedures.

Deck cadet Oceania Marina from Sept.11th 2013 to Mar. 11th 2014.

On Oceania Marina I have sailed for six months in a journey that have brought me form the Baltic Sea all the way down to New Zealand. I have been assistant safety, tender driver (for a lot of hours in a lots of ports/conditions). I practiced astronomical navigation. I was on the bridge with the Second Officer during the watch through out the whole contract.

  • Vessel's pyrotechnics, signaling equipment and appliances

  • Support Safety Officer on inspections of all Lifesaving Appliances and equipment, to ensure they are in good working condition, always ready for instant use and in accordance with SOLAS requirements
  • Cooperate with Safety Officer in applying instruction and training programs to Crew members, including but not limited to all Safety Drills as needed.
