Responsible for ensuring that tuition revenue is collected from CUA students while maintaining positive public relations and providing a high level of customer service.
•Reorganized and restaffed the department for more effective distribution of work.Restructuring also resulted in a significant reduction in overtime expenses.
•Recommended, wrote the request for proposal, and served as project manager of the interdepartmental team to implement the Nelnet QuikPAY e-commerce system for the PeopleSoft student information system for electronic billing, on-line payments, and direct deposit of student refunds.This e-commerce system eliminated the expenses associated with issuing paper billing statements, expanded the types of electronic payment options, and reduced the number of paper refund checks issued.
•Created and maintained the Student Accounts Office website.
•Developed and updated various communications to students and their parents, collaborating with other CUA offices, such as Admissions.
•Supervised 10 employees (two managers and eight non-exempt staff) and several student employees.
