  • Interviewed subject matter experts - engineers-- on  how they identify various aspects of  a $484 million dollar infrastructure  project, developed taxonomy, file naming conventions and metadata for engineering documents and CAD files to reside in SharePoint Library. BART OAC -1/2011.
  • Research for drug taxonomy. Researched FDA website on drug approvals for new conditions and new populations.Verified expert sources for web content.  SHARECARE INC. - 10-12/2010.
  • Interviewed directors of Telemedicine Programs at major  medical institution throughout the US on the overall business -- funding sources, equipment warranties, equipment satisfaction, wish lists, future funding changes  and specialty practice plans. 3M HEALTHCARE - July 2011.
  •  Managed data and reporting on hospital acquired infection trends and mortality for Moore Foundation Grant Requirements . Developed and presented data charts at weekly Director's Meetings. SUTTER HEALTH - 7-10/2009.
  • Identified topics of interest to historical scholars and created Index of video taped interviews of World War II shipyard workers. BANCROFT LIBRARY, Regional Oral History Archive - 2005 [MLIS Requirement].
  • Researched and harvested official government  reports and meeting minutes -- Fish and Game Reports, Army Corp of Engineers, EPA and officially convened bodies -- involved in the debate over the San Joaquin River Delta. Created network folder organization and database containing links to PDFs.  Created folder structures for  digital archive of government documents. UC WATER RESOURCES ARCHIVE -  1-5/2008 [MLIS requirement].
  • Developed all procedures for selling and processing new private label credit card for chain of 34 banks. Wrote customer notification letters related to price increases and product changes. Responsible for sign-off with legal as well as upper management. WESTAMERICA BANCORP -1989.
  • Created procedures for equipment re use from closed Divisions of Safeway Stores Inc. during the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.  leveraged buyout. Researched potential buyers of real estate assets -- grocery chains expanding into markets Safeway was exiting. SAFEWAY STORES - 80s.
  • Developed, managed and published survey research that motivated the development of  Higher Education Policy and Procedures.  Published research article cited over 100 times in professional publications - law, policy, education, social sciences. UC BERKELY -1980. 

Reseach & Analysis

* Researched National Library of Medicine and governmental/organizational  websites for published articles on policy issues and medical condition and disease for Kaiser Hospital Doctors, Nurses and Administrators.

* Survey Research - questionnaire development, analysis plan, analysis, data collection, sample design, testing, coding schems for open-ended questions on:  potential buyers of computers; purchase /sales cycle; membership surveys;education.

* Analysis of consumer accounts and product relationships to estimate switch as well as drop out from pricing increasing and combining products.

* Competitive analysis  of asset management software and hardware, products and partnerships.

* Advised Nursing Directors on graphic  representation of trend /numerical data of Hospital Acquired infection for  hospital holding company. Created charts and graphs (control charts) using Mini Tabs Statistical Software.
