I am always open to opportunity where I can contribute to the growth of a marketing or sales organization.  My background with brands and direct selling/business development will make me a valuable employee in a variety of industries looking to reshape and gain market share.  More than this, my deep experience with the human aspects of using social media to gain real world results along with my background with broadcast media, television, billboards, viral email and both telemarketing and direct mail will help your company connect like never before.  I will be able to utilize my experience and abilities to help our team get an unfair share of revenue.  While I am not actively seeking a new job, I am open to new opportunities that may enhance my career path and allow me to grow in the Charlotte, North Carolina market.

Rebuilt division from the ground up into successful and consistent top performer and profit center for the company; responsible for 100% of sales, development of marketing strategies for clients and the execution of those strategies with individual teams of designers, telemarketing teams and others on the east and west coast within our company and outside.  Responsible for large year to year increases in sales.

Developed a large variety of clients.  Responsible as top performer to problem-solve, set strategy and focus on customer satisfaction while helping our clients reach their goals. 

Took action to build our Americalist brand beyond company expecations by creating the concept and launching a specialized website, creating and writing a monthly e-marketing newsletter to generate top-of-mind for our brand with customers, generating seminar and client presentations; also launched new social networking opportunities for marketing our business to clients.  Created and launched social media strategy development for clients all across the U.S.

Responsible for all programming, marketing strategy and execution for WNKT and WSUY in the Charleston, South Carolina market.

Created multiple database marketing programs and lifted both stations into the Top 5 with adults 25-54 in the Charleston market (Spring 2003).

Created advanced event marketing programs and re-designed new logo's and visual presentations for both brands.

Created, sold, launched and produced a thirty minute television show based upon WNKT on Channel 4 (the local ABC TV affiliate) in Charleston, South Carolina.

Developed situational opportunities for our sales teams to increase revenue with both traditional and non-traditional increases in revenue.

Designed and organized community involvement infrastructure for both brands.

Developed, created and executed numerous on-air events for such charities as St. Jude, MUSC Children's Hospital, Quest For A Million Pennies and the Sertoma Club.

Programmer/Director Of Programming


Responsible for programming and marketing for the #1 branded station in the Rochester market (WBEE). Promoted to oversee and coordinate with all four (4) co-owned brands in the market.  

Managed programming and marketing budgets for stations.

Organized and executed the largest fund-raiser in Rochester radio history in 1998 for the Ronald McDonald House, helping to raise over $250,000.00.

Created and launched a signature concert series that has continued to grow and be a part of branding and revenue generation in this market since 1998.

Managed individual staffs and established ground-breaking promotions and creative marketing ideas (including the design and execution of all television, billboard, print and direct mail, as well as point-of-purchase advertising campaigns); created focused advertising campaigns designed to maximize market share working with two dynamic sales teams.

Capstar & SFX Broadcasting

Hired as program director for WSSL in November 1992 (generated large ratings increases from a 12.7 - 19.9 with adults 25-54); promoted to operations manager for Capstar and later SFX Greenville (SC) in May 1993.

Successfully revised strategic marketing plans for both brands to enhance researched images and maximize overall shares (ratings) and revenue (income).

Responsible for programming and marketing budgets in excess of $1,000,000.00.

Co-founded children's charities based on each station's brand.  

Created and executed fund-raising events for Shriner's Childrens Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Promoted to Charlotte, North Carolina by SFX Broadcasting to revitalize a broken brand against a heritage 30 year market leader. 

Launched and co-produced a local television show invovling the Charlotte brand (WKKT) and a local country music nightclub.

Designed and executed all direct mail, television, billboard and point-of-purchase advertising campaigns for the station brands.
