Louis Borrelli is an established new and traditional media executive, successful entrepreneur and recognized industry leader. A pioneer in cable television, online media and broadcast production services, Louis Borrelli has been driving innovation in operations, marketing, business development and new product creation for more than 30 years. Most recently, Louis Borrelli was President and Chief Executive Officer of NEP Broadcasting, LLC, the leading international provider of outsourced teleproduction services critical to the delivery of live sports and entertainment events. He was responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Company and its four operating divisions in the U.S. and U.K., each a leader in their industry segment. During his tenure, NEP achieved record financial performance (Revenues +240%, EBITDA +268%) through new management initiatives that increased market share, successfully integrated strategic acquisitions, focused sales and account management with effective business planning, performance measurement and reporting tools.
Louis Borrelli drove both new and renewed partnerships with every major sports and entertainment client in the mobile television production business while making strategic domestic and international acquisitions that produced significant growth in contracted long-term profitability and market share protection. Louis Borrelli led the successful auction and recapitalization of the Company just a year after his arrival, providing significant investment capital to increase the Company’s leadership position in high definition television production. NEP’s 2008 domestic market share of live, national, prime time events grew to 85% (Sports) and 90% (Entertainment).
Prior to joining NEP, Louis Borrelli was Senior Vice President, Broadband of America Online, Inc. responsible for developing AOL’s High Speed Broadband business plan, managing the commercial launch of AOL High Speed Cable to Time Warner Cable customers and developing distribution partnerships for AOL across the cable television and telecommunications industries, establishing AOL for Broadband as the leader in the premium broadband content and services. Louis Borrelli co-founded the industry’s first interactive music channel and directed the launch with dynamic activation events in the top 25 US media markets. Louis Borrelli led the development of alternative business strategies that consistently exceeded revenue and customer targets.
