Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, resident Louisa Nkrumah has spent the last three years working for JFC Staffing Associates as a Staff Assistant at Penn State College of Medicine’s Office of Technology Development. The position requires her to perform clerical duties ranging from photocopying and filing to faxing and mailing. Louisa Nkrumah also holds responsibility for the maintenance of a Microsoft Access database, proofreads confidential disclosure and material transfer agreements, greets visitors and clients to the office, and provides a first point of contact for telephone inquiries.Prior to joining JFC Staffing, Louisa Nkrumah spent five years as a Sales Associate at a Harrisburg Bon-Ton Department Store. She worked in several areas at the retail outlet, where she interacted directly with customers, relayed their concerns to managers, helped them locate products, and rang up sales and returns. Ms. Nkrumah also helped Bon-Ton with price changes, merchandising, floor moves, housekeeping, and maintenance of displays.Over her eight years in the workforce, Louisa Nkrumah has developed a variety of skills. She possesses a strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and is used to working in a team environment and adapting to new tasks. Ms. Nkrumah prides herself particularly on her time management skills, punctuality, and detail-oriented approach to her work.Ms. Nkrumah has spent several years as a student, as well. Two years after graduating from Central Dauphin East Senior High School in 2006, she enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Applied Behavioral Sciences at Penn State Harrisburg. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and playing tennis and the piano.
