Summary

As a Western Governors University graduate, I am interested in seeking an opportunity to help other WGU students be successful.  Since graduating from WGU in July of 2006, I have enjoyed a fabulous teaching career in elementary education.  This work experience, combined with being an alumni of WGU and past organizational experience in event planning places me as an ideal candidate to foster the growth of WGU, and its students.

Master of Arts

Western Governors University

My experience as a WGU alumni uniquely qualifies me to aid current students.  This competency based online university placed me in a position to begin my teaching career in a well established independent school.  From navigating in Taskstream, to discussing my action plan with a mentor, having experienced the university from the students' perspective will benefit current students as they make their way through the WGU experience.
