After spending 16 years as a "Head Hunter" and seeing hundreds of smart capable people fail because it wasn't the right fit, including MYSELF, I have committed the remainder of my career to helping professionals find their PASSION, their PURPOSE and the PLACE they can PROSPER! I am an Executive Career Coach who has served over 450 executives since 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I work with individuals who are seeking a new position, seeking an entirely new career, or perhaps even considering entrepreneurship. I also help individuals gain more visibility in their current company to be targeted for a promotion and prevent being laid off.
I believe that within each of us is the power and ability to be a top performer. The secret is finding your "Success Zone." I use a variety of tools and strategies to help clients create a clear vision of where they fit and a strategy to uncover if the position or corporate culture will make their soul sing or be toxic for them. I have personally been a top producer and been fired because it was a poor culture fit. I am currently writing a book based on my own experiences of being in the "Perfect Dream Job/Wrong Culture," and the research I have been conducting over the past four years with my 450+ executives, who themselves were the victims of layoffs, downsizing and firing. 1. Culture Fit...No more round holes if you’re a square peg. Have you ever been in the perfect job but the wrong corporate culture? In a recent blog entry, I wrote that so many people are miserable in their jobs, or love their job but the company they work for does not energize them. Don’t be stuck in a rut. 2. Personal Branding.....Be a guru! One simply has to be willing to become "slightly famous". Simply put, professionals should not be job seekers applying to the "black holes" of online application software, or ending up on the desk of some overworked Human Resources staff member. Gurus know how to get themselves out there. I teach professionals directly how to get in front of decision-makers BEFORE they have an opening. Decision-makers will call their connections when they have a need, but professionals need to get on their radar before the need occurs at their target companies.
