Establishing a German subsidiary of Kapow Software, a vendor of web data integration software. Working as a freelancer for two years, then joining the newly founded GmbH. Responsible for technical presales, consulting, training, and technical account management in the regions D-A-CH and Benelux.

Recent deals & projects:

Commerzbank Mobile Banking: Successfully selling Kapow Katalyst for mobilizing the existing online banking solution. Designing a mobile web application with Java EE 6 / Apache Wicket / Kapow Katalyst. Responsible for all Kapow / Java development. Project duration: 4 months.

Deutsche Telekom Incident Management: Orchestrating multiple web resources and web services within the organization (CRM, issue tracking, SAP) with Kapow Katalyst, to automate various processes around analyzing and correcting SIM card failure complaints. 

OBI Market Intelligence: Selling Kapow Katalyst to compare prices & product portfolios from various competitors, as well as tracking their marketing activities (advertisements, home page variations, etc.).

International Government Open Source Intelligence: Giving training to partners of Kapow to build robots for tracking Facebook/LinkedIn/... profiles, relationships, tags, images, and groups, resulting in several successful license deals.

Received award "Best Sales Performance of the Year"  in 2008 and 2009

Creation and presentation of technical preparations, as well as holding workshops about how to use the ATG Online CRM Platform within the scope of large enterprise applications. Beside the creation or review of customer-specific software/hardware architectures this also implies the conception and development of prototypes and integration solutions (proof-of-concept).

Thesis: Development of a debugger for the Mozart Programming System, an advanced platform for intelligent, distributed applications, written in the Oz language, which supports declarative programming, object-oriented programming, constraint programming, and concurrency as part of a coherent whole. Designing and implementing debugger stubs for the C++-based virtual machine, and a GUI in Tcl/Tk for thread execution control as well as visualization of threads, call stack, and variables.
