Record and edit feeds and features for on air broadcast. Production liaison between Traffic/Continuity, Programming, Sales and Promotions/Marketing. Record commercials for broadcast and ensure effective, timely delivery of daily requested audio for airchecks. Handle editing and loading of programming audio whilst mixing and archiving. Directly work with traffic department in coordination and implementation of commercial logs, from creation to inception Responsible for daily podcast of CBS features to website, podcast and streaming on CBS stations. Well versed in Adobe Audition, AudioVault (all aspects from AV AIR and file management), ISDN, FTP technology, and Broadcast Mixer consoles. Schedule PSA and on-air promo announcements into non conflict day parts. Manage internship program by hiring, providing guidance, assigning and supervising interns. Encourage intern skill development with station departments including Production, Programming and various departments Conduct orientation of the internship program in addition to coordinating training, informative sessions, and career specific events. Foster and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of corporate, government and non-profit organizations, students and faculty and academic advisers. Work with career expos, on-campus recruiting activity, with professional organizations that provide networking and marketing opportunities. Act as liaison between universities and CBS radio. Imaging projects include promos to coincide with station events and features for on air broadcast.
