Senior Accountant II

Maner Costerisan

At Maner Costerisan, I am encouraged to take initiative, in both internal house-projects and through professionally assisting clients including one-on-one consultations. With Maner, I have a chance to work directly with many clients (because I enjoy the client contact side of things) and I am developing tax, accounting, and the ever-important research skills. When I started two years ago, I became involved in our rotational program, which allowed me in my first year to explore both our Business Accounting Services department and our Tax deptartment. Now in my second year I have settled in more and am narrowing my focus on what I am intereted in. I love maintaining contact with my regular BAS clients, as well as the diversity that comes from preparing various types of tax returns. I am presently taking initiative in 5500 preparation for pension, welfare and benefits plans. I love that my firm allows me, and encourages me, to explore my interests.

I am extremely close to becoming a CPA. I will be excited to announce when that day comes (I should have my license before the year is up)!
