Accountable for the design and delivery of effective instruction to an average of 90 students, many of whom had been previously unsuccessful in school and were returning to the classroom after many years absence.
Develop and implement curriculum materials to meet state standards and lesson objectives, incorporating experimental learning including lesson plans; and interactive, step by step, motion filled Power Points to enrich the classroom experience.
Incorporate technology and project-based instruction in the classroom.
Implement practices that assist student population score higher on standardized testing and classroom grades.
Design learning environment to meet educational development requirements, adapting teaching style to accommodate both individual and group needs.
Challenged to instill enthusiasm and competency for various Mathematical skills for students well below grade level with and without IEP's.

Fulfilled leadership, advisory and active participation roles in a variety of school committees and student organizations.
