  • After-school program coordinator - Spring 2008

Summary

I am a Chico State graduate with a BA degree in Journalism and a concentration in public relations. Alongside my BA, I also achieved a minor in Recreation Administration, primarily focusing on Resort Lodging Management and Event Planning.

I am in search of an entry-level job that will encompass my educational specialties and provide room to grow and learn professionally. I love and strive in fast-paced environments and really have found, through prior job experience, that I excel in multi-tasked situations.

I can bring so many skills to the table besides just what I have learned through school books and lectures. Some of those things are; my ability to acclimate quickly to changes, get along with various personalities (even those that are more difficult) and self-motivate. When one task is completed, I will go on to find the next project to conquer and not just sit around and wait to be told what to do.

Retail Sales

Camila's-At-Tahoe

While working with this company, I was responsible for maintaining its Web site, customer service, retail sales, merchandising and inventory. This was a fast-paced environment which required me to work with a diverse clientele and learn new tasks from day-to-day. For a good part of my employment, I was working alone from open to close. This forced me to become a self-motivated and efficient worker.
