I am a bilingual lawyer with both Common and Civil lawyer knowledge and experience, an advantage that has translated into real cost savings for my clients. As a manager, I believe in the empowerment of my staff and encourage both legal and cross-discipline development. My preferred leadership style is Delegative, although I also believe in the benefits of the Participative/Democratic style. My years of in-house practice provide me with a unique perspective, making my contributions to the business valuable and relevant, in every day operations and Executive Committee meetings alike. Finally, I have dual citizenship (US and Canadian), allowing me easy mobility.

To Whom It May Concern:

Lorraine Kuska was employed as Legal Counsel for Adecco Employment Services and Ajilon

Canada for a period of over ten months this year to cover a maternity leave for our VP of HR and Legal Counsel. Lorraine was responsible for a team of 4, 1 additional lawyer and 2 legal

assistants. Lorraine’s broad business exposure was a tremendous asset to our organization

specifically her high tech industry experience. Lorraine became productive very quickly and kept

on top of our legal issues both for HR issues and corporate contract review.

During her contract, Lorraine also served on our senior leadership team and made a contribution

outside of her legal area of expertise. Her fluent English/French language skills were also a tremendous asset in servicing our Quebec population.

I would not hesitate in recommending Lorraine. Please reach out to me directly for further information.
