Associates in Arts

Central Piedmont Community College

At CPCC, I completed a business class focusing on the economy, money, and jobs. I also took classes pertaining to historical events, and English classes. With these classes, I apply everything that I learn to my work to try to advance in each job and learn more about the customers and people.

High School Diploma

North Mecklenburg High School

Throughout my high school career I learned a lot about the way that people work, and how to work with people to keep them happy. I also retained basic math skills, and completed a business law class that helped with learning about different jobs.

One of my strengths is that I learn quickly. I do not have experience with a full service restaurant, but being trained would not be as difficult and I pick up on things very quickly. I also know how to keep calm in tough situations, and always keep a smile on my face that customers typically notice. Customers feed off of the energy put out, so a happy employee makes for happy customers!

National Career Readiness Certificate

Pat McCrory

WorkKeys is a national workforce development assessment system that permits a direct comparison of the skills and levels of skills needed to perform a job with the skills and levels of skills an individual currently possesses. This certificate reports an individual's Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information levels of skills in relation to the level of these skills needed in 16% of the jobs and occupations contained in ACT's WorkKeys database. This certificate is only awarded to individuals who meet the minimum performance criterion for level 3 across all three skill areas.
