Provide full leadership for an innovation and marketing consultancy specializing in ideation, market research, marketing strategy, product development and branding. • Planned and facilitated strategic visioning and ideation sessions producing breakthrough concepts based on consumer and marketplace trends/insights.

 Created and led "Beverage Experience Lab" (in Australia),  a custom user-centered research methodology leveraging multisensory culinary design techniques. Partnered with Australia-based innovation research firm to identify key consumer insights and define new product opportunities.

Designed new global "Culinary Innovation" process, building internal capability for a world-class snack food company. Optimized flavor identification, recipe development, protocept testing, prototype refinement, and commercialization methods. New methodology resulted in successful new products significantly contributing to rapid business growth. 

• Developed and led the international "Culinary Innovation" training program facilitating innovation program adoption by multiple divisions of the global food and beverage parent company. 

Developed consulting services to generate a new revenue stream for InnoCentive. Built communications and awards capabilities. Led culture-change activities helping clients to integrate Collaborative / Open Innovation (OI) across their organizations. Successfully launched internal OI programs for Boehringer-Ingelheim, Rockefeller Foundation, and NASA.

• Led creation of new business platform, extending sales and brand equity to additional segments for Avery-Dennison. Acted as change agent to direct cross-functional team through entire discovery/development process. Program success resulted in repeat and referral projects across multiple Avery brand groups.

CCD INNOVATION (CENTER FOR CULINARY DEVELOPMENT)

Directed all strategic insight and innovation initiatives while successfully cultivating client relationships for a well-established food and beverage product development consultancy. Supervised assignments of 20+ direct and indirect reports in the following critical departments: client services, marketing, creative, culinary, trendology and consumer research. • Reversed 6-year attendance decline by dramatically improving direct marketing efforts. Designed a strong, compelling brand for each concert series.

• Expanded audience base by introducing World Festival music series, drawing new audiences from multiple cultures. Assembled group sales team to expand focus to generate revenue from convention/tourism segment.

Defined new growth platforms and championed a broad portfolio of new product projects. • Developed 30 new meal solution product concepts; each concept exceeded test norms for purchase interest and uniqueness.

• Identified the first concept to launch, establishing a new grocery category; Homestyle Bakes was subsequently awarded #1 New Product of the Year, reaching year-one sales of $125MM.
