Summary

Lisabeth Marziello, a team Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Portland Metropolitan Area, holds 20 years of experience in the youth organization’s administration and various recognitions. In 1991, Lisabeth Marziello undertook her first leadership role with the Boys & Girls Clubs movement (B&GC). After serving as an Executive Director of the Utica, New York, Boys & Girls Club for four years, Lisabeth Marziello relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin, as a CEO growing the organization from 2 locations to 16. During this period, she and her husband, Joseph, also a CEO, oversaw a staff of 110 and instituted a number of positive changes, among them an 775 percent increase in assets. Their actions garnered the accolade of CEOs of the Year by the BGCA Wisconsin Area Council.

In 2002, Lisabeth and Joseph Marziello moved to co-manage the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland, in Portland, Oregon. Under their direction during the past 9 years, the 18 clubs have experienced a 270 percent boost in youth membership, a 221 percent hike in program budget, and the introduction of 3 additional units and 10 after school sites. Named Distinguished Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Academy, Lisabeth and Joseph Marziello also received mention as a “Governance Partnership that Works” by the National Center for Nonprofit Boards. Today, they remain engaged growing the Portland B&GC, in addition to the U.S. organization’s success through their membership in the BGCA National Government Relations Committee.

They completed their undergraduate education at Whittier College in California, Lisabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, and Joseph a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
