Objective

Continue to work in the global international arena, enhancing advocacy and policy, brand recognition, and developing and implementing strategic and targeted outreach to promote positive bottom line growth.

Multicultural international professional environments are "second nature" to me and I am fluent in four major European languages.

Summary

I am an experienced consultant, non-profit and trade association professional; this followed upon a distinguished (law qualified) diplomatic career.

My expertise includes strategic consulting and hands-on assistance for businesses, non-profit organizations and trade associations; formulating global strategies to positively influence bottom line growth; creating international strategic management structures and outreach to national and international governmental bodies; organizing advocacy campaigns and goal-oriented conferences; conflict resolution; developing brand enhancement strategies and engaging in appropriate follow-up. I directed formulation and implementation of government affairs strategies for industry to positively impact regulatory policies and reform.

As a seasoned advisor and negotiator in industrial, legal, commercial, trade, agricultural, social and other sectors, I have worked for key groups in the U.S. and European and Asian countries, the United Nations, and other international organizations.

I served as Vice President of AARP International; Senior Consultant at Stonebridge International; and Head of European Affairs, Associate Vice President at Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).

During my career as a Belgian diplomat I was awarded two knighthoods and awards

by four governments and the United Nations for advancing business and humanitarian causes throughout the world.
