I, Lindsey Gittins, was born and raised in the small town of Pocatello, Idaho where I grew up camping, dancing and frog-hunting. I was always a high achiever when it came to grades in school, constantly striving to be the best. At first, my goal was to be the best in my school class. Then I started working and, well, that philosophy spilled over into my professional life.

I pick up skills quick and I'm never one to complain. I was at ease while serving at Texas Roadhouse for three yeas as I became friends with the guests that would come in. At Idaho Central Credit Union, I enjoyed building rapport and helping members in their times of need.

Now. across the country at JCPenney, I take great value in the face-to-face interactions I have with customers. I know how to build relationships with those that come in, whether it be with a witty comment or an in-depth conversation.

If you search for me on social media, you won't find me on Instagram or Twitter, only Facebook. You're probably wondering why I'm even applying for this job, but I promise I have social media experience in a professional setting and I also promise I'm not a laggard in technology. I personally choose not to publish my life online, but I fully understand the  blessing social media is in order for companies to reach their publics. When I do post, I pride myself on witty, eye-catching language that generally gets many likes, if I do say so myself.

The main goal in my life is to build relationships with those around me. That's what makes me happiest and most comfortable. When I'm not building relationships, I love reading, watching movies, camping, doing puzzles, traveling or just catching up on my social media.
