Skills

Skills

Multi-tasking

My job at Summit Motorsports Park requires you to multi-task. Taking customers orders, getting drinks, making food, and serving food all while having a smile! I am able to multi-task on my own calmly.

Team Work

I am able to work in a team and listen or be a team leader. Currently at my job we have a team of 52 people all working toward one goal: pleasing the customers. This includes but is not limited to assembly lines, preparing food, cleaning, and taking orders.

Communication

Through my job I have had to work on communicating with customers, easy and hard to communicate with. I interact with the customers with body language, being friendly and helpful.

Interpersonal

I am experienced in customer service from my job. I get along with others, act mature and professional.

Extra Curriculum

Certifications

FFA

I participate in my local FFA chapter. I have received my Greenhand Degree and am working toward my Chapter Degree. Through FFA I attend meetings and have applied parliamentary procedure skills. I visit the nursing home and interact with the residents. I have been involved with Christmas packages to send to soldiers away from home, fundraising for childrens hospitals and activities to help out the community.

Latin & Spanish

I have taken 6 years of Latin, from first grade to sixth. The reason behind my study in Latin was to expand my vocabulary. Latin helps a person receive a better understanding of vocabulary words by  breaking a single word down into parts. I also have studied Spanish for three years, seventh through ninth. I grew up in a bilingual house. Portuguese and English is present in our house so Spanish helped me understand languages in a whole different way.
