About Liam Cronin Vanderbilt

As a sales and marketing assistant for Compass Records, Vanderbilt University senior Liam Cronin builds on experience in research and organizational development. He served throughout the summer of 2014 as an analyst with Rafferty Capital Markets, Hilton Capital Management, and Direxion Investments, in which role he expanded his knowledge of hedge funds as well as product sales and trading. Regularly engaged in market research, Liam Cronin of Vanderbilt University presented his analyses in a highly successful investment proposal.

The following summer, Mr. Cronin accepted a position as a brand strategy and marketing intern with Jalbert Productions. He once again engaged in extensive market research to drive sales of services, while also developing a strategic plan to expand the company's corporate client portfolio. By the end of his tenure, he had driven a 400 percent increase in social media activity and brand awareness.

Liam Cronin has also served as a Vanderbilt brand ambassador and campus sales representative with Uber, and as the chief marketing officer for the music app Q Up. In both roles, he leveraged his communication skills to organize successful promotional events in high-visibility locations. Now focused on his work in the music industry, he balances his professional responsibilities with an active personal life.
