  • IBM's Jam, often referred to as crowdsourcing or as open innovation, is a defined approach to kick start innovation across a company, industry, or with consumers by harnessing the collective brainpower of a group to a given problem or business challenge.  Examples of IBM Jams

  • Commercialized IBM's internal IBM Jams for use by clients resulting in $100M+ in direct revenue within two years

  • Advise CEOs and public sector executives on IBM's collaboration strategy and its applicability for innovation and direct impact in their company or organization

Program Director, Corporate Intranet – Strategy and Operations (Office of the CIO)

  • Set and implemented strategy to drive use and adoption of enterprise portal by employees and business units as the company’s “single point of entry” for workplace needs. Annual savings attributed at $2B
  • Team awarded Nielsen Norman Group’s Top 10 Best Intranet Award for 2006
  • Led enterprise-wide program to consolidate, migrate and integrate thousands of stand-alone corporate and business unit sites into enterprise portal. Operational savings of $100M

  • Developed corporate intranet personalization and workforce enablement strategy across units and countries to deliver employee-tailored content by location, job role, business unit and industry
  • Teamed with country Communications departments to provide effective internal messages for employees throughout the organization
  • Managed team of over 300 content professionals around the globe and consolidated group onto a single content management tool
