About me

I have worked extensively in Eukaryotic Cells digesting and breaking down any waste material, debris, organelle, or other material no longer needed by the cell. I have two degrees that I achieved at Cell College, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Cell Biology. I have worked with Plant Cells Company and Golgi Apparatus Company but I am currently working with Animal Eukaryotic Cells Inc.

Skills

Qualifications

I am typically 0.1–1.2 μm in size, way to small for you to see without an electron microscope. I am surrounded my a lysosomal membrane. Without this membrane, my degrading enzymes would leak into the rest of the cell and cause damage. I have a pH of 4.8 so I am very acidic.

Talents I've acquired

I contain hydrolase enzymes that allow me to break down many compounds. I can even dispense some of my enzymes into vacuoles in order to digest their contents.

Digesting

I can digest and break down any waste material, debris, organelle, or other extra material no longer needed by the cell.
