Head of Marketing and Online for a regional chain of alt-weekly newspapers, which includes the Hartford Advocate, New Haven Advocate, and Fairfield County Weekly.  Oversaw online development and SEO for,, and Project-managed redesign plan for the sites and the CMS (content management system).  Established a full-scale social media (SM) plan for all three sites and trained others to utilize the SM platform for increased inbound traffic and online branding. High-level supervision of sponsored and proprietary events including two annual music festivals.  Instituted popular consumer member benefit program, Friends with Benefits.  Instrumental in securing exclusive sponsorship sales contracts, including national touring productions such as Cirque du Soleil, Bodies Revealed, and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit.  Helped drive the Event sales category to grow 32%, rising from the # 3 to the #1 Sales category for the company.
