ST Packaging and Testing Manufacturing (PTM) Group Vice-President, defining and promoting Back-End Capex strategies, capacity ramp  up plans, cost breakthrough initiatives, and  supply chain directions for all ST Business Units.

  • Improved Plant saturation by 16 points up to 88%, in spite of the concurrent Company Top line contraction. Transferred over 500 production tools formerly assigned to the digital wireless activities to new core business production lines, and managed the Long Gang (China) plant consolidation within 18 months.
  • Launched the PTM modernization initiative, a multi-year 150 M$ investment plan.
  • Initiated and deployed the ST Back-End Manufacturing road-map, defining the process technology, equipment and material evolution over the next five years, targetting best-in-class package costs and product robustness.
