The autobiography assignment has given me the opportunity to see what I value the most about my life. My relationships, faith, and dreams seem to be the center point of my life.
The midterm helped me reflect on my strengths and weaknesses.
Strength: I stay focus when faced with distractions, obstacles, and adversary.
Weakness: I do not have a relationship with each teammate.
This is assignment was assigned in order to speak with an individual or organization that posses a worldview divergent from my own and provide a written report.
I interviewed a nurse because I am interested in becoming a Neonatal Nurse one day.
Jayden Spencer and Vinnie Sunseri were in my group. This project provides each group member a chance to practice leading and influencing team members in their prospective sports. Our problem was lack of confidence within our teams.
Through this assignment I was able to envision where I will be in 5-10 year. As well as, establish 3 short term goals.
"Leadership is not about the pursuit of power but about the pursuit of service. It is about serving others in the area of our natural abilities and passions. When we do, we ripple with influence. We do not even have to try to "lead" other. We may not have a position at the top of a flow chart, but we lead."
By participating in HES 275, I have developed my own self worth based on my individual uniqueness, a better understanding of leadership, different ways to be a leader, a better understanding of my coaches thoughts, a vision my for future, calmness for speaking in front of my classmates, and an understanding of my strengths and weaknesses.
